Looks like a bug indeed, probably related to the curve rewrite.
I think the benefit of the selection modes in blender has been covered a lot already in this referenced tweet as well: https://twitter.com/electrode3D/status/1644681001694625792
@edgar.ishankulov so it's crashing either way for 3.4 or 3.5?
I guess we should tag @Baardaap for this
Hi there! From my understanding, this is just because the material is not assigned/assigned-wrong.
If you use 3.4 and the working file, switch to the material preview, everything would be white…
@Raimund58 You can still use llvmpipe
of mesa driver to get wsl graphics to support OpenGL 4.x (Now it's only 3.1), that should enable you to have a pretty fluent headless rendering. But whether…
My feeling is that this Could very well be a graphics card driver issue... The hardware doesn't seem to be remotely old enough to have any problems...
Crashed with in a dll call `eglGetProcAddre…
I believe that should be supported but might cause some issues during scene evaluation. Will take a look
@edgar.ishankulov Try to use google drive or wetransfer, it's best if you could simplify the scene as much as possible and still trigger the crash. :)
Hi @edgar.ishankulov I don't think the file is attached... could you try upload it again?
Can confirm the issue. It works nicely with 3.4.1 but in 3.5/3.6 it does not work any more.
Couldn't reproduce the crash with the file. Could you provide us crash logs if there are any? Thanks!

Hi @Raimund58 would you like to provide us more information on the graphics? Could you run glxinfo -B
on your WSL2 terminal and give us what the output is?
Note: WSL doesn't have the full…
Couldn't reproduce the issue with the steps you have written. Would you like to provide us a file where it happens?
After playing with the steps with a new file and a cylinder, I still can't…
Hi @edgar.ishankulov Could you make a test file for us to look at? It's best if there's a file that can replicate the issue.
The crash log seems to imply sound system crash, From the code it…
Yeah I had consistent behaviour on previous versions before, so I'm not sure if this is really a bug or if it's intentional
