Blender crashing on Mac every time I select File > New > 2D Animation / Sculpting / VFX / Video Editing

Hi sorry I took too long to respond. I forgot about it and the email notification got buried among other emails. But hey option 2 did It. It even crashed when I tried to reset factory settings…

Regression: Crash after selection highlight in file popover menu

Is this resolved? I'm getting the same bug on 4.2 LTS and 4.3.0 Alpha.

Correction: it worked on 3.6 LTS. Not on 4.0
