Hiding parts of a mesh and then appliyng a screw modifier prevents the previously hidden parts from being edited.
Object bounding box not working with GPU Subdivision Surface
Oh wow, you're right. When I torn on auto-normals for the object (thereby disabling gpu for subdivision) suddenly the numbers change to be correct.
Object's Dimensions do not change in the transform window when adding a Subdivision Surface Modifier.
