Short description of error

Custom Chain Intersections are not properly generated. Intersections will not be generated at all when this type is used in a metarig, treating chains as if "merge controls" was not ticked.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default human metarig or a simplified attached .blend file.
