System Information
Operating system: Windows 10

Blender Version: Blender 4.2.1
CloudRig Version: 2.1.12

Noticed that i don't have the "Toggle Meta/Generated Rig" hotkey anymore.
I don't even see it in the hotkeys list in the add-on settings.
I remember having it around version 2.1.0, then after updating cloudrig - its gone.

Okay, it is still there, i was able to use it and assign a hotkey through the F3 menu, but it feels like a workaround and not a proper fix.

Heya. So, from my testing, this should only happen if the keymap entry got removed, ie. through Blender's built-in keymap editor. And it should get fixed when CloudRig is disabled and re-enabled. Although currently, disabling CloudRig in this state also throws an error, but I will push a fix for that in the next version. Even despite the error during disabling of CloudRig, re-enabling CloudRig should still cause the hotkey to come back. Can you confirm?

Okay, i tested it on my laptop with a clean blender version first.
The hotkeys are there from the start, and even after manually deleting them in keymap editor, disabling and enabling cloudrig makes them work again.
Checked it on my main pc as well, works perfectly!
As you said, throws an error, but then still fixes everything.
What's strange tho, is that i tried reinstalling cloudrig manually before and it wouldn't work, i guess disabling and uninstalling is different?

Hmm, it depends, if you reinstalled it while Blender is closed, or reinstalled it without reloading scripts in Blender, then the preferences don't necessarily get wiped, so yes, it can happen that reinstalling is less effective than disabling and re-enabling, which is pretty ironic!

In any case, since I'm not too sure why the hotkey disappeared in the first place, and since it's easily fixed, I'll close this issue for now. Feel free to re-open if this re-occurs.

And as mentioned, the error when disabling when a keymap is removed will be fixed in next version (is already fixed in the code, just don't want to make a release just for this because it's so minor.).
