I can change material domain from Object to Data and this resolve the issue. Issue is related with pointers deduplication, so the material on Object make it incorrect and next all becomes too…

Alpha channel is not supposed to be modified by the color management, and it is not modified in practice either. Try opening rendered EXR in Affinity, or converting it to PNG using oiiotool

In fact @JoelR_VC 's example illustrates this. His output does have alpha but it doesn't have color management (filmic tonemapping, so the highlight has unrealistic white clipping).
