@hectorpulido Blender has quite relaxed system requirements for a 3D application. The first card with GCN1 architecture was released in 2012, that is 11 years ago.
You can keep using Blender…
@Nurb2Kea A friendly reminder that we have a code of conduct, valid for all Blender platforms.
To quote the first part: Disagreement…
Thanks. Closing this report then, we cannot give support for third party add-ons.
Do you have any add-on installed and enabled that manipulates the modifier UI? For me, on a vanilla 4.0 build the UI looks as attached in the image. ![grafik](/attachments/f2c9b209-312a-4488-96a7-7…
Can you please provide exact steps what you do? Adding modifiers works fine here. The screenshot mentions "greasepencil" here, did you add anything before?
We still support Intel Macs with AMD GPUs and Intel GPUs (Skylake and above), but it seems not NVIDIA anymore. @Jeroen-Bakker Can you confirm?
The hardware requirements for Blender 4.0 have been increased, you need a GPU with support for Metal 2.2. You have to keep using Blender 3.6 unfortunately.
But the UI opens when starting from the command line? Can you run blender_debug_gpu.cmd
and upload both blender_debug_output
and blender_system_info
please?
I see, indeed. Thanks for the clarification.
Can you please describe what you actually think is wrong here? I see various options being changed for denoising but no bug.
