Missing Bits
============
First rule of Multi-View bug report: If something is not working as it should *when Views is off* this is a severe bug, do mention this in the report.
Second rule is, if something works *when Views is off* but doesn't (or crashes) when *Views is on*, this is a important bug. Do mention this in the report.
Everything else is likely small todos, and may wait until we are sure none of the above is happening.
Apart from that there are those known issues:
* Compositor Image Node poorly working for Multi-View OpenEXR
(this was working prefectly before the 'Use Multi-View' functionality)
* Selecting camera from Multi-View when looking from camera is problematic
* Animation Playback (ctrl+F11) doesn't support stereo formats
* Wrong filepath when trying to play back animated scene
* Viewport Rendering doesn't support Multi-View
* Overscan Rendering
* Fullscreen display modes need to warn the user
* Object copy should be aware of views suffix

Issue was caused by _wstat returning EOVERFLOW error because
of file size didn't fit into stat structure which was using
long datatype.
The idea of this patch is to use _wstat64 and _stat64 structure
which is capable storing 64bit file sizes.
Made it a typedef for stat structure used by BLI_stat function
in order to make code easier to follow and avoid ifdefs all
over the place.
Additionally solved issue with BLI_exists which was wrongly
returning False in cases destination file is larger then 4GB.
ERROR: Image not available. Keeping packed image
This was due to recent bugfix for #36639, the image should only be reloaded if
the path actually changed and it's not a packed file.
The BKE_bpath_traverse_id method updates path variables of image data blocks, but did not cause the image to be reloaded (or rather, tagged so it gets reloaded on next use). This requires also updating
all the ImageUser "ok" tags, which happens in some odd places in other cases where reload happens (e.g. the reload operator and the image path button handler function in image template).
Deprecated Freestyle-specific elements were removed from the code base,
in order to address all comments from branch code reviews.

Backward compatibility won't be maintained in the following components:
- Freestyle edge/face marks in old .blend files are ignored.
Old .blend files can be converted by loading and saving the files using
a Freestyle branch build between revision 55581 and 55842.
- External style modules are no longer supported.
Instead text datablocks must be used to keep style module files within
.blend files. A branch build between revision 55741 and 55842 is useful
for identifying the style module file names that need reconfiguring.
Conflicts resolved:
source/blenderplayer/bad_level_call_stubs/SConscript
Partly reverted changes to intern/cycles/blender/addon/ui.py in revision 52899
to make it easier to merge trunk changes.
and RNA for it independent of the build flag for enabling Freestyle. Suggested
by Sergey Sharybin through a code review of the branch.
* Many #ifdef WITH_FREESTYLE blocks were removed to always have Freestyle-specific
DNA file specification and RNA for it built in Blender. This will allow Freestyle
setting survive even when a non-Freestyle build is used for loading and saving
files. It is noted that operations are still conditionally built through #ifdef
WITH_FREESTYLE blocks.
* To this end, new blenkernel files BKE_freestyle.h and intern/freestyle.c have
been added. All API functions in FRS_freestyle_config.h as well as some of those
in FRS_freestyle.h were moved to the new files. Now the relocated API functions
have BKE_ prefix instead of FRS_.
- Packing .blend files
If you work a lot with dynamic linked .blend files ("Libraries"), it's always hard to
share your work with others (or for bug reports!).
This new option packs all used external .blend files, and - on save - combines it together
in one .blend file. You can save that file on any location.
Loading a packed .blend file then loads all library data usual - not editable.
Just use unpack to save out all linked .blend files. This will only save out the files
according the directory structure as was used on linking - relative to the current .blend.
It will create new directories, so be careful with unpacking when relative paths go up.
This feature also works fine for linked compressed .blend files.
It also works for many levels deep linked .blend hierarchies.
Access is hidden for now - I need to get some people to give it serious testing first.
You can find the options via spacebar search (try pack or unpack).
- Packed data and Undo
Now all packed data is excluded from the Undo buffer storage. Keeps undo memory smaller
and makes faster redo possible.
- yes, this does break scripts, but the api is marked experimental.
ED_region_draw_cb_activate() adds a callback to a region type whereas the api made it look like the callback was being added to the region instance.
Use a class method on bpy.types.Space to manage region drawing, eg.
was:
self._handle = context.region.callback_add(draw_callback_px, args, 'POST_PIXEL')
is now:
self._handle = bpy.types.SpaceView3D.draw_handler_add(draw_callback_px, args, 'WINDOW', 'POST_PIXEL')
now blenlib/BLI doesn't depend on any blenkern/BKE functions,
there are still some bad level includes but these are only to access G.background and the blender version define.
