73c7c10c6e Bug fix #33748
Old fixes, since 2009 and before! Related to Curve object editmode:

- normals are not being drawn for hidden curves anymore
- even worse: Blender also didn't hide the extrusions or bevels for hidden curves
- outside edit mode, it shows all (as for all other modes)
- (de)select-all now works when 1st (or any) handle was hidden.

ef5a41a89d Three fixes;
- Previous commit had a line of code of WIP project in it... tss

- Packed Library data was not freed

- Removed recent (post 2.65a) code to exclude packed data from Undo system.
It's internal data thats part of file spec, errors happen for example on
  restoring quit.blend or temp saves.

fa759d8ffd Mac HiDPI ("retina") handling:
OK - so you have this nice crisp screen, and still you want to add extra
monitors to the laptop! That means Blender should switch back and forth to HiDPI
modes, when you move a window to another monitor.

This code makes the pixelsize scale factor a window property, and handles
an event when a window moves to another monitor. It then changes the
native pixelsize nicely and refreshes entire UI.

You can also have one Blender window on high, and other on low resolution.

Stretching a Blender window from 1 monitor to the other works too, but that
is Apple magic handling it.

aab01c86cf Patch #33837: ffmpeg1.1 and libav9.1 compatibility update
Patch makes it possible to compile blender with recent ffmpeg
and libav libraries, mainly by getting rid of deprecated API.

Original patch by Campbell Barton with own modifications to
support compilation with older ffmpeg versions.

This patch could break compatibility of FFV1 videos playing
back in older players, mainly because of alpha support changes.
Preserving compatibility with such players became a headache
and think it's high time to get rid of workarounds here.

"Pack Blender Libraries" now first does a check if the .blend files are all used
with relative paths. This to prevent bad things happen on unpacking.

17c428d4df Changing units of stiffness parameter in classical (new) SPH solver: used to be speed of sound squared; now just speed of sound.
The classical SPH solver was not in 2.65, so this change is unlikely to affect many users. But beta users who have been trying it out will need to change the stiffness parameter to sqrt(old value).

70a59a3262 Depsgraph hack feature - experimental
Many depsgraph failures are because some data in the graph is being
recalculated too early (or not at all).

Since we better support animators with working renders, here's a hack to
allow manual additional updates on frame changes.

In Property Editor, Object, Panel "Relations Extra" you now have two
buttons:
- Extra Object Update
- Extra Data Update

This will do an extra update of object and/or its data ONLY on frame changes.
Update happens as last.

Tested on files collected in Wiki todo, several cases now work OK, especially
the lags on updates.

ff6339a979 Make options for background gradient more organized.
This was difficult to do because we group theme colours and display them
together in user preferences. To make the background options more
presentable and keep them grouped and separate, I needed to group the
two gradient colours somehow. I added a separate ThemeSpaceGradient RNA
struct as opposed to ThemeSpaceGeneric. This struct is the same as
ThemeSpaceGeneric but it lacks the window background option (which does
nothing now) and includes the UiGradient struct which now has both
gradient colours. I modified the clear functions to use a new high
colour from the gradient. Now all options appear grouped and any other
editor that may use a gradient for the window background may do so.

Also corrected incorrect MAIN_VERSION_ATLEAST macro, it would not detect
versions correctly

252d0c6c5b Workaround for textured display with dynamic topology enabled
This will only make object display with proper shape in textured
view, but all materials and textures will be replaced with default
gray color. There's currently no better way to deal with textured
display when dynamic topology enabled because of all UV/tfaces are
clearing when enabling dynamic topology sculpt.

Anyway, better to display gray object with proper lighting in this
case rather than not update object's shape during sculpt.

Proper solution will be possible once CD layer will be preserved
by BMesh log.

fa0805e287 Changes for opengl render to reflect new alpha premul pipeline
without hurting quick texture painting

- ED_view3d_draw_offscreen will now output buffer with
transparent alpha, if sky needed it should be alpha-undered
  later.

- ED_view3d_draw_offscreen_imbuf now accepts alpha mode as an
argument which could be either R_ADDSKY or R_PREMULALPHA

- OpenGL render and sequencer's opengl preview will now reflect
  scene's Alpha Mode

- Quick Edit will use OpenGL with transparent alpha mode

c2839bfe76 add option WITH_SYSTEM_BULLET to link against the bullet installation found on the system.
Note: this doesn't work yet for everything with latest stable bullet (2.81), need to look into why and likely apply some patches upstream.
However I managed to link blender by disabling some features, likely it can be made to work without too much trouble.

dadb1ccd92 Fix [#33189] AFTER 2.65 - Units in doc strings in ocean modifier.
Also:
* Fixes a (op prop) bug which prevented, once you had baked and freed ocean once, to bake again.
* Fixed infinite values of acumulated foam when baking with foam_fade values above 1.0, now simply clipping accumulated foam value to 1.0, as already done for the "instantaneaous" foam value returned by BKE_ocean_jminus_to_foam().
* Added missing RNA descriptions.
* Made foam_fade unanimatable!
* Added in UI some missing properties that are imho useful: random seed, size (kindof 'surface scaling'), and foam_fade (baking only).
* Removed custom lerp() func from bke's ocean.c, BLI's interpf does exactly the same thing (the first two args are just in reversed order). Note: this could most certainly be done in other parts of the code, bpy's mathutils for e.g. has its own linear interpolation code for vectors and matrices :/).
* Did some general code cleanup (mostly line length and no C++ -> C comments)...

9190c493c1 extend BLI_buffer
- add option to calloc or not, existing code wasnt consistent here, would calloc on first alloc but not on realloc, also - the static memory was never zero'd.
use flag BLI_BUFFER_USE_CALLOC to ensure all new memory is zero'd (static/alloc/realloc's).

- add BLI_buffer_declare_static / BLI_buffer_declare so its possible to have a buffer that never uses static memory.
