The screenshot shows the error message that prevents opening the add-on. The add-on shows the same error for Blender 4.0 but works great for Blender 2.8.

Hi, thanks for the report. Can you send .dxf file? Also verify again in recent builds: https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/
