Short description of error
The descriptions for Soft vs Hard Blade do not make the functions clear to new users.
Here's a suggestion for how to word them:
Soft:
Creates a copy of the strip, hiding the original strip's end after the cut point and the copy's beginning up to the cut point. You can move both strips around afterwards and adjust their length around and beyond the cut point, up to restoring the full original length.
Hard:
Cuts the strip in two at the cut point. The resulting two strips will have no information beyond the cut point, so while they can be moved, you cannot restore information beyond their cut points.
