Attributes is translated when translation "Tooltips" is on.
But it should be translated when translation "Interface" is on, not "Tooltips".

If you ask users what a tooltip is, 98% will say that it is a text box displays information when the mouse cursor hovers over an element.

So either use the "tooltips" as users expect or rename this option to something with a broader meaning.

Note that this is not the first such report.

Yes, we've really lost our way with the TIP_, IFACE_, DATA_ stuff.

If you ask users what a tooltip is, 98% will say that it is a text box displays information when the mouse cursor hovers over an element.

So either use the "tooltips" as users expect or rename this option to something with a broader meaning.

There is definite utility for some users to select their native language but then select only "tooltips" as translated. That way their menus and everything else match tutorials but if they get stuck they can still read tooltips in their language. That is the idea anyway.

This isn't really too far gone to fix is it? Looks to be about 800 uses of TIP_ that should be IFACE_ instead. I don't mind fixing this if we think it won't cause other issues.

This was discussed here 3 years ago, I found old issue: #76101.
@Harley look at this issue, maybe you can fix it.
