Alpha Channel from Mesh is not rendered when used in Geometry Nodes 3.6 (from 3.5) #109563

Short description of error
File build on 3.5 does not work the same in 3.6. Please see image attached. The mesh on the right displays correctly on both versions (holes using alpha channel), however, when using a geometry node with "object info" node and picking that mesh, the alpha channel does not display correctly on version 3.6.

Making a simple geometry node using "Object info" with group output on 3.6 works fine, but not with the complex geometry network from the original file. No errors or warnings on any node from the file in 3.5. Impossible to make any sense of what it can be wrong.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open file, choose Viewport shading -> Material Preview

Yes, finally I see everything, thanks for the updates!
As I see it, the problem is that you are creating a new UV map. This has worked in the past as it was undefined behavior. The problem has not yet been completely resolved (See: #106563, #109083, #107066, #103250, #98852, #98366, #108404).
In your case, you can work around this:

  1. Create an Attribute node instead of the Texture Coordinate in the shader:
    image
  2. By delete other one UV map at the end of the geometry nodes:

I will now close this report as this is now expected behavior.

Yes, finally I see everything, thanks for the updates! As I see it, the problem is that you are creating a new UV map. This has worked in the past as it was undefined behavior. The problem has not yet been completely resolved (See: https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/106563, https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/109083, https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/107066, https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/103250, https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/98852, https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/98366, https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/108404).
