The OpenGL version required by Blender is higher than the OpenGL version supported by macOS. As such when you open Blender with the OpenGL backend, it detects that Blender isn't supported then closes. I can reproduce this issue on my M1 Pro Mac.

@fclem It seems some versioning code needs to be put in to automatically change the render backend to Metal for all macOS users.

The OpenGL version required by Blender is higher than the OpenGL version supported by macOS. As such when you open Blender with the OpenGL backend, it detects that Blender isn't supported then closes. #110185 has landed and contains code to fix that. If blender doesn't open after that it is because your hardware is unsupported.

Blender 3.6 it work on OpenGL but 4.0 make me crash too much and I unable to open.
Please stop no more CRASH GUIDE any more do it to fix code without CRASH GUIDE!

@Kent-Davis Blender 4.0 is currently in the alpha stage of development. It is likely to have issues. If you are experiencing issues, then it is recommended that you make a bug report for it so the developers can fix the bug.

If you do not want to deal with the issues that come from using in-development software, then it is recommended that you stay on the stable versions of Blender. The latest stable version is 3.6.1

Open auto become METAL itself during show from hidden Library on 4.0 folder OpenGL cause become METAL itself it worked.

@Alaska Please what @PratikPB2123 said. Pratik already found out and getting know about Mac getting better few months ago like 1 year ago and Pratik know lot for surel. Pratik can explain to Alaska about that focus for Mac.

Actually Alaska uses Mac system. And also requested the changes in versioning code to prevent the crash when OpenGL backend is enabled: #110185 (comment)
