Can't quite reproduce but I recall a recent report about a similar thing. Will look it up

I found that the issue is RCS only. Left click works as expected.

Unable to confirm either.

@ChengduLittleA #112346 ?

@YegorSmirnov , does this happen after factory reset?: File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings

@PratikPB2123 ah correct that's the one I saw, but looks like it's not a software problem humm...

Maybe @YegorSmirnov could you check your mouse and see if it's somehow double clicking or something?

This reminds me of #95452 (Multiple calls of 'view3d.select' with LMB selection keymap) although I can't say for sure if it's an effect of the same issue.

Correct. Something with my keymap coming from 3.6. Factory settings doesn't have the issue. I'll investigate my config. Guess it can be closed then.
UPD: found a misconfig. Sorry for the alarm

AFAICS, this is a result of the same issue described in #95452 (Multiple calls of 'view3d.select' with LMB selection keymap)

This can be a problem for users editing the settings as they need to make sure the properties of both calls are "compatible".

Closing then.
