Bevel + Weld modifer Crash #112922

Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19045-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 536.67

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.6.1, branch: blender-v3.6-release, commit date: 2023-07-17 12:50, hash: 8bda729ef4dc
3.6.4 and 4.0 crashes as well, tested on multiable computers with consistant result.
I know there was a weld related issue that was fixed in 3.6.3, but this seams unrelated to that issue.

Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)
Blender 3.5 works as expected

Short description of error
When using two Bevel modifiers and one Weld, it produces consistent crashes after adjusting the amount in either Bevel for a few seconds.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Add 1 bevel with vertex group or bevel weight with assigned vertices or edges
  2. Add a second bevel with angle
  3. Add a Weld Modfier
  4. Change any of bevel amount for about 5-15 sekunds
  5. Crash!

More obeservations:
When the weld is set to connected I coulde not get it to crash.

Here is the blend file I tested with and a video of the issue:

I started simplifying the file a bit. Now one just has to enable the modifier in a debug build and it will trigger an assert.

Fix is on the way. (Will also fix #112909).
The new code will also merge customdata of corners better.
But the tests file will have to be updated.

Really happy to see the issue solved so quickly since it has been making my production files crash a lot during the past few days. Hopfully the fix will be added to 3.6.5?
