[Weight Paint][Smooth] Seems to Undo #114016

Short description of error
In Weight Paint Mode if I have checked on "Vertex Selection", when I click on Smooth and change Iterations value in "Smooth Vertex Weight" windows, Blender seemts to execute a roll back on last action (like a group selection or a shape_keys selection for example)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Create two vertex groups and paint random weights on them.
Go to Edit Mode.
Select somes vertices
Go back to Weight Paint Mode.
Click on Vertex Selection
Select a group.
Select an other group.
Click on smooth in "Weights" menu.
Change iterations value in Smooth Vertex Weight" windows
The group has changed.

The "undo/rollback" not appear only on group selection. It's happen on other actions like shape_key selection, shape_key vtx group fill.
The trigger is always a change on iteration on smooth paint weight with vertex selection checked

Hi, thanks for the report. This is because undo-step is not created for UI changes in paint and edit mode.
So when iteration value is changed of smooth operator, blender jumps to previous undo-step (i.e. Go back to Weight Paint Mode in your case) and redoes the smooth operator with new iteration value.

If I'm not "Vertex Selection" I understand the behavior but if I'm in vertex selection I don't understand why the behavior change.
It seems to not just "Go back to weight paint mode" but jump to previous undo. In my case, the change to vertex group selection.
Wihout "Vertex Selection" activated is very pleasant to adjust smooth. But with "Vertex Selection" activated it's impossible to work smoothly.
I have to change my iteration but the result appears not on the right vertex group. So I have to undo. Select the right vertex group and push smooth again
