Make Local (All) operator is crashing Blender with Library Override Collections #114134

Broken: version: 3.6.5, branch: blender-v3.6-release, commit date: 2023-10-16 14:30, hash: cf1e1ed46b7e
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Looks like this broke with c5e10920f9 or a238ab737b

Short description of error
The operator in Object > Relations > Make Local... > All is crashing Blender 3.6.5 when called. This feature was working normally in 3.6.4

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • in a file called RIG.blend make an armature and automatic weights it with the default cube.
  • put the objects into a collection and save
  • in a new file ANIM.blend link the collection created and make and library override from it.
  • now call the operator Make Local All and blender will crash.

File Samples:
_ANIM.blend
_RIG.blend

That is very bad because there is not another way to quickly batch a bunch of collections to make them local and its dependencies. Our shading process depends on this feature which was working normally in 3.6.4

This crash happens with simple objects as well as with collections, by following these steps:

  1. Link an object
  2. Select the linked object and Make Library Override
  3. Make Local

I include my test files, the Crash-file is ready to be crashed by making the linked object local.
