Not exactly an error, but the way trackpad pinch-to-zoom works has been altered in some way compared to older versions of Blender. Sometimes it doesn't react at all to the gesture in 3d viewport and especially when trying to zoom slowly with the pinch gesture, it is highly likely that nothing happens in the viewport. My hardware is fine as every other software functions as should.
When the zoom works, it is really slow. I have to repeat the same gesture 10 times to get from a overall view of my model to a detail.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open the basic file and perform a slow pinch gesture to zoom in the 3d viewport on a Mac trackpad. Nothing happens.

Hi, thanks for the report. Unable to redo the trackpad zoom problem on Windows.
Likely a Mac specific issue since this has been brought up before: #112173 , #92221
