Same here.
Can confirm a crash with the default cube, will check when this broke
Same crash here on Linux. Same error message.

@fclem The issue has not been resolved. Blender (latest daily build

) still crashes when switching to EEVEE-Next.For me (Linux) EEVEE Next doesn't crash any more but on the first switch to rendered mode, it took several seconds (while EEVEE Legacy started rendering instantly). After a short break shading looked completely "broken", nothing like Cycles or EEVEE Legacy.

Same thing here with Windows and the last 4.1 version of Blender, instant crash and close when switching to eevee next.

Change render to Eevee (NEXT), and change view from Shaded to Render.
Instant Crash.

Noticed in today's available version of Blender 4.1 alpha that entering rendered mode in Eevee no longer crashes Blender. However, noticed that there is a crash when entering material preview mode.
Still insta-crashing here when attempting to do anything with either EEVEE or EEVEE Legacy. Material preview, render, rendered view all crash with an ACCESS_VIOLATION exception.
Running a GeForce 3090 on Windows 10 x64. Stack trace if it helps:
Fresh daily build 7dce0d77681b: EEVEE-Next is not crashing but broken while switching to the EEVEE Legacy causes insta crash.
EEVEE-next seems good now. Instead, EEVEE (legacy) render is now crashing. Do we require a new report or are we handling this in same thread?
