System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 Home
Processor: I3 4005U
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics Family (AKA Intel HD Graphics 4400)
RAM: 8GB

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 4.1
Worked: 3

Basically when trying to start the program I get a grey screen and then the app crashes.
Sorry for the low and old specs, but the old version of the program was working just fine

Just startup of the new Blender 4.1

I had the same issue, It happens at random since blender 4.0. The only temporary fix I found is to log out of Windows and then log back in (or restart PC).

Hi @MrJW @EdugamesBR146 , could you use these blender_debug_gpu.cmd and blender_debug_gpu_workaround.cmd in blender installation directory to start blender, and give us the logs it produced? Also, please give us the system info file from Help > Save System Info.

Looks like HD4400 supports OpenGL 4.3 on Windows, so it should run Blender just fine. Could you see if you could upgrade the driver for your intel integrated graphics? Thanks!

Intel HD Graphics 4400

Hi, this GPU is not supported after 4.0 release, see: https://developer.blender.org/docs/release_notes/4.0/#graphics-cards
Due to driver issues, support for Intel HD4000 series GPUs has been dropped.

Not a bug, closing.

Also check whether these particular driver versions are working: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/troubleshooting/gpu/windows/intel.html#legacy-intel-hd-4000-5000
