Short description of error
When render animation from view > render animation can't set zoom size (looks like hanged window).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
When blender processing next images to pack in to movie (not images) with audio, sounds, etc. then working hard.
Due this the Blender internal thread should have priority around GUI.
In case of big size, small screen and when want have a previews on some places can't move real result from render.

Note that, I'm doing render from bad source for output due bugs. Soo.. viewport is okey, render result not.

When blender is doing viewport rendering, you can't interact with the viewport unless you cancel the render. This is by design. I'm not sure what is exactly you wanted to do, if you want to render then let it render 🤔

When render animation from view > render animation can't set zoom size

Hi, I can reproduce. Though interaction with zoom and pan operation is not possible in view render animation tab because the WM_cursor_time sets the cursor to display current frame. As far as I understand you can't interact with UI until WM_cursor_modal_restore is called. I don't think this is a bug, closing.
Feel free to comment if there is misunderstanding.

If image is render, then normal zoom can be done. Just for animation can't be coz each new rendered image looks like reseted.
Anyway.. if image is to big can change size to control results. Soo.. for comfy situation zoom must working or in options we need option to set a frame size inside editor/view window for renders as default value or pause process render to change size and change thread for CPU/GPU to have priority for GUI.
