Short description of error
Crossfade sounds flatlines both sounds.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Add two sound strips.
Make then overlap in two different channels.
Right click > Crossfade sounds
Notice: both sound strips flatlines.

I can confirm with 4.3 but not with 4.2 beta so I'll mark it High since it's a recent regression.

Wanted to bisect this, but there are compile issues around ffmped and libsndfile, which means no sound. @nathanvegdahl I have seen some keyframing related commits from you. Nothing in release notes though. Do you have any idea why this happens?

Actually, I did not need the actual sound, since I can see the curves. Issue is caused by 1a4f084806

Not sure how it worked previously, but looks like now it tries to resolve RNA path from PointerRNA *struct_pointer, instead of owner ID, which fails. So reassigned this to animation module, since it seems that on VSE side code seems to be correct.
