Short description of error
In certain situations, RNA path names in f-curves
are not updated when the animated RNA path was changed.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
RNA Path of the "Time" strip is now broken.
The same thing happens when the strips are moved to
another track or the track-name is changed.

#43540 was marked as duplicate of this issue
From the description, this seems to be related to the animation of NLA strip properties. This functionality is not entirely supported that well - it kindof works (if you don't look too carefully), but it actually wasn't really meant to work in the way that it currently does.

Asking again... @JoshuaLeung, what's gonna to be a verdict here? :P

For me this really smells like a Todo, doesn't it?
I just wanted to mention here that this issue is not only a problem in the NLA! When renaming custom properties the paths to f-curves are also not updated. Also, it seems impossible to rename the paths via script. This is a really big problem for me personally.

Hoorah! Now this one finally becomes invalid, now that

are in place. Those commits do away with the need to have RNA paths for strip properties, so this bug becomes moot now. Sure, it would be nice to have this working too, but it's not necessary for support to be shoehorned in for this.Closing at last :D
