System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 1803
Graphics card: RX 570

Blender Version
Broken: (example: blender-2.80-f990c23bcfb5-win64, master, 2019-07-03, as found on the splash screen)
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
Transparency does work when I switch Blend mode to "Alpha Blend" but shadows do not work correctly when I switch shadow mode to "Alpha Clip or Alpha Hashed"
When I try to change shadow mode to "Alpha Clip", shadows disappear immediately. You can see shadows only when the shadow mode is set to opaque. This does not work when we use alpha channel PNG "Images as Planes".
Bug.jpg
Transparency in EEVEE.blend
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I have attached the file.

  1. Change the shadow mode to other than opaque and see shadows will disappear.

How did you do that? I tried every shadow option it doesn't work for me. I use different PNG images, the problem is still persisting. I'm using blender-2.80-f990c23bcfb5-win64, master, 2019-07-03. Shadows work until the image texture isn't connected to node setup. See another mesh which works fine but it does not have any image texture.
I read this https://blenderartists.org/t/eevee-shadows/1150594/20
It is working on your PC because you have an nVidia GPU. I think the problem is related to AMD GPUs. I am using RX 570. Driver version: 19.5.2
Thanks for the response!

Could be a problem with your card. Developers will have to look at it.

Think this is related to the GPU on Windows and looks like a duplicate of #61129?

Yeah, You are right. This is happening to AMD GPUs only and mostly with RX series. Seems like this bug has not fixed for a long time. Any information about fixing it?
