System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19042-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: Radeon(TM) RX 460 Graphics ATI Technologies Inc. 4.5.14802 Core Profile Context 21.12.1 30.0.14011.3017

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.0.0, branch: master, commit date: 2021-12-02 18:35, hash: f1cca30557
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
The Main Menu Disappear when marking objects in the outliner as an asset.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
While I'm creating my asset library, The step at which you should mark your objects in the outliner as an asset, suddenly I noticed the disappearance of the main menu completely from the view.

I found a way to bring it back to view once more, And that is by grabbing any border like for example the border between the time line and the 3d view and drag it a bit, it brings back the menu again.

This type of thing has (so far) only been reported under particular circumstances: when you have more than one monitor and they differ in OS scale. As in one monitor is at 100% while having another at 125%, for example. If this matches your setup then we might have a solution, possibly for version 3.1: https://developer.blender.org/D10483

If you only have one monitor then I’d need enough details to be able to recreate what you are seeing.

Hi, thanks for the report. Not sure what Main menu exactly means. You mean TopBar? We already have a report for it: #89587 (Marking objects as assets makes the top bar disappear)

Could you also add images (or a video) to show exact issue?

The Main Menu, which contains File, Edit, Render, and so on....

I'll try to add a video as well.

Thanks and regards.

Hello Harley, I'm using single monitor, no other monitors attached to my PC, and I don't have another one :-).

Here is the video, if you noticed from the video, the menu flashes and scales for a second while I'm marking the objects as asset, before it goes blank.

Thanks!

Perfect, then this is NOT a duplicate of #79559 (Layout tabs disapear after switching layouts) but it IS a duplicate of #89587 (Marking objects as assets makes the top bar disappear)

Hi, No need to keep separate report open so I will merge your report into #89587 (Marking objects as assets makes the top bar disappear)
Thanks again for the report :)

Ok no problem, by the way a friend of mine also uses blender 3.0 has the same issue, I asked him to recreate the steps shown in my previous video, and same bug happened with him.

I thought this info will be valuable to fix the bug :-).

Thanks and regards
