Suggestion/Feature request
yo Metsu how are you my man?
can we have the new behavior reverted in (1.6.2) of alt+space back as a setting at least if people are not happy with it?
at first I found it a bit strange since I am not used to it, but later I found it more powerfull than the old (current) behavior since you can have multiple gizmos at the same time!
CC @Mets
Heya, this may not be a perfect solution but in order to try and please everyone, the way it works now is that if you tap Alt+Spacebar (don't hold it) to summon the pie, and THEN hold the Shift key, it will toggle the gizmo that you click on, instead of setting it as the exclusively active one. So, that's currently how you can activate multiple gizmos at once. I know it's a bit finnicky, but this is what I could come up with in order to not have to add overly specific settings in the preferences, which I always try to avoid. Let me know what you think.
hey,
but the old behavior of toggle manipulator is not the same!
it used to hide just the gizmo (loc, rot or scale) but now it disables all the gizmos in the viewport (as if you press ctrl + `)
I think the old behavior is better than the current one in this specific case! but I like the newer behavior of toggling specific gizmo as that the ability to show more than one gizmo at the same time!
Oh, that's a good point. Will fix, but it might have to wait till after the Blender Conference.
first have fun in the conf ;)
I think that toggle behavior you talked about (by holding the SHIFT key) is no longer needed since the same thing will be achieved with toggle manipulator!
