This does seem to crash in a triangulate node. Would be best if you could provide a small test file that isolate the object that cause the crash.

I have this random crash too, it does not happen always but one in every 10 starts results in a crash, most likely the extension platform related as observed by the poster
I think the same crash happens when F2 to rename a node in geometry nodes graph.
Ok but it works when it is the transform node or the join node but not when both are chained together. I do not understand the argument, are you saying that this kind of setup will never be supported?
