Custom Properties within PropertyGroups cannot be animated when attached to a PoseBone

Is there any progress on this? I also ran into this very problem and it's blocking my addon dev. :(

fbx import error (vertex colors?)

Thanks for looking into this :) Would it maybe be possible to set the color to the default if the value is malformed, instead of erroring out?
