Just ignore the unsupported channel(s). It might happen that somebody has them in there by accident and gets confused about the problem with the texture not loading in Eevee.

It's rather easy to reproduce - at least on my system. Just use a transparent TIFF image with an Alpha channel and plug it into a PBSDF material. Attached is a file.
