Blender and Documentation: Confusing terms of 'Steps' and mismatch count

Particles are a legacy feature so this is not something we will likely fix. This feature has been replaced with the new curves sculpt mode and will be removed in a future version of Blender.

I think the index is what you are looking for:

This gives a list of all the nodes and can be easily searched in your browser.
