I've answered that twice now. Yes, 3.5 on Windows works. But I NEED to know why it doesn't crash on Linux.

it doesn't crash on Linux and it works seemingly if i wait a while before i start the render. does that make any sense in the 3.4 vs 3.5 comparison?
