Short description of error
Blender 3.5.1 crashes while rendering, crash can happen in 1 minute or maybe in 40 minute, it's random. I have 48 gb RAM and 12gb of Vram, and scene what I try to render is just animation of a bottle, there is no a lot of geometry. I don't have any problems with computer, I thought maybe problem with hardware, but tests which were made in PC service center showed that my computer doesn't have any hardware problem. But I cant understand why does blender random crashes while rendering. Please help, how to fix it.
Blender debug files are attached. Blend files is on google drive, it's too large https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/189yjWSqU2wrEvngbSfkP-jQ-nAZ0qPkc?usp=drive_link
Please upload file C:\Users\aleks\AppData\Local\Temp\Wine KRASII white bottle.crash.txt
Also check if this happens with alpha build from https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/
I don't expect this to be the case, but make sure your GPU is not overclocked. If it is, use stock speeds and re-check.
Here is ...
I didn't overlock any hardware of my PC. Could installing of octane-renderer addon cause this problem?
I tried rendering the scene in Blender 3.5.1 on my computer and could not reproduce the crash.
However, if I unpack the textures from the .blend file, save it, then reopen it and render, I can occasionally reproduce a crash. The crash is very similar to the one shown in the various files attached. On a random frame, the Cycles scene is initializing and during texture loading, Blender crashes. Although my crash occurs in a slightly different spot.
@Aleks-7 When you're rendering on your computer, are the textures packed into the .blend file, or are they separated?
I retested with Blender 4.0 and didn't observe any crashes. But this could be an exception.
@Aleks-7 can you please clarify, did you test a new version of Blender (3.6 Beta or 4.0 Alpha)? If so, what were the results? If it's still crashing, can you upload files like
Wine KRASII white bottle.crash.txt
andblender_debug_output.txt
for the crashes in the new version?System Information

Installing addons can cause various issues. If you would like to test without Octane, you can:
File -> Defaults -> Load Factory Settings
)Note: If you want to enable GPU rendering, you will need to open preferences and enable it again.
Note 2: When you close and re-open Blender, all your settings and add-ons will go back to what you had before.
Unfortunately I don't know when Blender wants to crash. It's all random, sometimes it works without crashing sometimes it doesn't. Thanks for help) I didn't try beta or alpha version, when I try I will send a result
I'm fairly certain this is a duplicate of #108487 and this is indeed an issue with PSD textures. There's a problem when multiple PSD files are loaded simultaneously. We hope to make a fix soon but I'll mark this as a duplicate until then. The only workaround will be to use a different image format until this is fixed - we're going to try to get this in for 3.6.0 but it may land in 3.6.1 depending.
