Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
- Open default scene
new main Window
- Keep the new window floating. Move mouse cursor over the first main window
- Call search menu
- Open Blender
- Make a new main window
- Toggle full screen area ( ctrl + alt + space ) on one of them
- Search on 2nd monitor (f3 or space is you are og)
- See your blender crashes
Unable to crash on linux (X11) no matter which window I'm invoking search in.

- Call the search menu while the cursor is outside the Blender window
No need to make a second window
No due date set.
No dependencies set.
