System Information
Operating system: Windows 11 Home ARM64 (10.0.26100)
Graphics card: Adreno X1-85
Blender Version
Broken: 4.3.0 ARM64 (from the daily builds tab)
Short description of error
When trying to render an image, Blender becomes unresponsive and later crashes
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Always happens when attempting to render
Can you share the crash log with us? https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/troubleshooting/crash.html#crash-log
Can you also share more information.
Help -> Save System Information
from the top of Blender, saving it somewhere, and sharing it with us."What steps are you using to render the image?"
I used the default scene as test. I pressed F12 as hotkey, but also tried selecting it via the GUI. I did not do anything else, but please feel free to tell me if I need to try something else
"What render engine are you using?"
EEVEE is the one crashing. Cycles via the CPU works

"Does this happen in all scenes or only some?"
It always happens, regardless the scene, when using EEVEE
"What GPU drivers do you have?"
I don't know if this is what you mean, but this I find under GPU -> Version:
'4.6 (Core Profile) Mesa 24.2.0-devel (git-57f4f8520a)'
Sorry I forgot about this report. Can the issue still be reproduced in the latest version of Blender? And can you make sure that everything is up to date in Windows update and the Microsoft store (Windows update and the Microsoft store provide two parts of the GPU driver neccesary to use Blender and EEVEE)?
In the meantime, I have contacted @Anthony-Roberts our current Windows on ARM platform maintainer to take a look at the issue.
I am unable to reproduce this bug on an X Elite device.
@Mika-Hintz please let me know if it still occurs after doing a full Windows Update, and ensuring the OpenGL compatibility pack is updated via your MS store.
I did however hit #122837, which I will follow up on seperately.
Hi, over a week without reply, closing.
If issue persists, feel free to reopen the ticket with necessary info @Mika-Hintz :)
