WIP: ImageEngine: Improve Performance Textures smaller than 12K #108619
This PR uses an optimized code-path for textures that fit on a GPU.
Normally GPU textures are limited around 12-16K (including a safe margin
as it depends on texture formats.
The performance increase depends on the platform and operation.
Zooming/panning (what is a known bottleneck of the previous implementation
can be 10-100 times faster.
- UDIM textures
- Compositor view offset
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may exist for a short time before cleaning up, in most cases it CANNOT be undone. Continue?
