The previews can become really big with some nodes such as the color ramp, or when a user scale the node.
This patch adds an hard limit to the size of the preview.
The limit acts as the maximum size of the greatest side of the preview rect (for non-square ones).

I don't think this should be a preference, we should be careful not to add too many and I don't think it's really needed for this. I prefer to have it fixed to the same size as the preview render resolution. Users can zoom in on the shader editor when they want to see more.

That makes sens, but when using it, I personally preferred to have a low resolution and have the preview at a different size.
I do not have a better solution to avoid this new preference, and also for compositor nodes the previews have different resolutions that might make it strange to have different preview sizes.
