Delete Branch "Harley/blender:RecentPreviews"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Recent Menu item tooltips showing details and preview image.
The addition of
BLO_version_from_filehere to show the Blender version would be added instead with #104547Interesting! I wonder if it's better to have the image aligned to the left, and have it be 3-4 lines tall, since that's something we have control over (unlike the length of a path that makes the tooltip wider).

But overall I love the idea, thanks for working on it !
Yikes. Yes, I didn't really think much about the size of the preview. It would probably be a usable thing even if quite small.
You could always mock up what might look good and I can copy that after I can add spacer lines with #112487.

I added the checkerboard and border to the preview image to better match what we see in File Browser. I still struggle with the size of the preview image though. Probably needs someone like you to test it and see how it feels. If you capture an example and resize the image to the exact size you like I can then follow that exactly.
