Exception is thrown in gpu_storage_buffer.cc

StorageBuf::StorageBuf(size_t size, const char *name)
{
  /* Make sure that UBO is padded to size of vec4 */
  BLI_assert((size % 16) == 0);

To reproduce create legacy Bezier curve and convert it to new Curves.
Code is from #116617

Also changed solution for case with zero curves. In version with max_ii(, 4) noticed weird visual artifacts.
