I left the Cycles example cause it looks close to Eevee Legacy. Also Cycles and Eevee Legacy look good in practice on actual hair and the new Eevee looks really bad. I would say a bit of…
@Calibrator , feature requests should be made on right click select.
As for your concern about DOF going through the portal, there are a…
I was thinking this could be useful for screens, but then the DOF becomes an issue. Afaik the distance through the portal is added to the DOF, meaning it's gonna be problematic to focus on both…
There is could be 2 option i think:
- Send user to manual by this word.
- Call this as
Auto Field input
in UI and have no relatations with manual.
I just looked up implicit fields…
I wonder if "implicit field input" is a useful tooltip to someone who doesn't already know what it is.
Luckily I am here to answer this question. No, I have no idea what this means. Under…
Since the 4.1 version from Blender Builds is working fine and the issue only appears on the Steam version, I have no problem using LD_LIBRARY_PATH='' %command%
. If you need me to do anything…
All right, here's the text file it gave. I have no idea what to look for in it so good luck.
Guess we can close the report if 4.1.1 build is working
Steam version is still broken. I can't test 4.1.1 since it's not there but daily build won't launch without LD_LIBRARY_PATH='' %command%
@Calibrator You mentioned builds from the blender.org had problems as well. Just to be sure, can you confirm the 4.1 build from https://download.blender.org/release/Blender4.1/ works fine for…
For me, this problem would be more expected to happen with global undo OFF.
Just to check if that is the case, @HotKnife, can you try with Factory Settings?
Go to File → Defaults…
Ok I was about to do a quick rant cause it just happened and I couldn't reproduce it at will, but it turns out I can. With global undo on. ![Screenshot_20240404_204732.jpg](/attachments/33f58583-…
I'm having the same issue as OP on Arch Linux. It might be the same issue, if you want I'll open a separate one. In the meanwhile here's my terminal with debug.

As far as I know, x ray in pose mode only puts the bones in front. I don't know if this is a bug or not but I just tested it in 4.1 and that's exactly what it did.
@OmarEmaraDev I see. So I just tested it. The scene I provided has the issue resolved for sure. One of the scenes that I was talking about in the previous comment still has it but it's different.…
@OmarEmaraDev The issue still seems to be there in my old files. I downloaded the Stable version a couple hours ago and tested it one of my work files that I initially found it on. I'm curious to…
Can you tell us which version introduced this regression? Did it work fine in 3.6?
@OmarEmaraDev On 2 similar scenes saved in 4.0, then opened in 3.6.5 (let me know if this is problematic)…
