Delete Branch "Alaska:enable-hip-interop"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Enable OpenGL for the HIP rendering backend in Cycles.
Ref: #91571
Marked as WIP at the moment because the minimum supported GPU drivers need to be updated to one that doesn't have bugs, or a driver check needs to be added to decide if we should use it.
At the moment I don't know what drivers are supported, but my guess is anything from early 2023 onwards is safe based on the fact AMD has OpenGL interop examples with Windows support dating back to December 2022. And many older versions may also be supported.
I also feel like Linux should be tested before making this change.
@brecht feel free to share your thoughts?
This change is based against Blender 4.1. However it doesn't seem important, so I'm happy rebasing against 4.2 and delaying it a bit.

I asked some users to test this build. At the time of writing there is a report from a Linux user with a RX 6600 claiming that Blender crashes when rendering in the viewport.
Assuming this is the general behavior seen on Linux, then it seems this is unsafe to enable on Linux. I do still plan to run my own Linux tests in the future.
Should we enable it on Windows only? Or just leave it disabled until it's fixed on both platforms?

I just wanted to add I tested Linux, and I can confirm the crashing when using graphics interop. So it does seem like graphics interop is only functional on Windows at the moment.
Given the existing stability issues we have with HIP, I've decided we should not enable graphics interop until the HIP stability improves in general. It risk adding more instability and hard to debug issues for a relatively small performance benefit, both on Windows and Linux.
