ca38bce46a Fix T81380: Playback set start/endframe operators can set negative
rendering range

The Allow Negative Frames option, introduced in rB21a2350248fd, allows
for negative frames, but this should only apply for playback and
animations, the rendering range should still be clamped to MINFRAME /
MAXFRAME, because rendering does not allow for negative frames. Preview
range should not be affected afaict (I am not aware of operators that
allow for rendering this range).

fc59febb1b UI/Animation: Don't change Graph Editor cursor from scrubbing region
Do not execute the operator to change the Graph Editor cursor when changing the
active frame through the scrubbing region. This is not what users expect, see
T76599.

Removes an explicit exception to not let the regular frame change operator
execute in the Graph Editor. It was needed to let the cursor operator run
instead, but the interplay between the two operators is now handled at keymap
level.

Fixes T76599.

bbaa1bffe9 Sound: Port to a copy-on-write concept
This change makes it so sound handles are created for evaluated scene,
sequencer and speakers. This allows to have properly evaluated animation
on them.

For the viewport playback sound uses regular dependency graph.

For the final render sound uses dependency graph created for render pipeline,
which now also contains sequencer and sound datablocks.

All the direct sound update calls are replaced with corresponding dependency
graph recalc tag.

2b9965122e Sound: Revert all the recent changes to sound
This happened to be a bigger rabbit hole to hell than it originally seemed,
and there are higher priority design tasks to be handled (at this point high

After talking to Brecht the decision was made to revert to the known isolated
issue, which will allow everyone in the studio work same as prior to last
Friday.

The remaining bits will be worked on after all the design tasks are out of
the way.

c5fe16e121 Sound: Make sound handles only be in evaluated datablocks
Quite straightforward change, which makes it so audio handles are
only created inside of evaluated datablocks.

Exception is adding sound strip to the sequencer, which needs an
audio handle to query length and number of channels. This is done
by temporarily loading sound file into an original datablock, and
then tossing it away.

There is an assert in sound.c which verifies that audio system is
used from an evaluated domain, which should help porting all the
cases which are likely missed by this commit.

Some annoying parts:

- `BKE_sound_update_scene()` is iterating over all bases, and does
special ID tags to see whether sound has been handled or not
already. This can not be done the old fashion now.

Ideally, this will be done as a speaker datablock evaluation,
but seems that would require a lock since audio API is not safe
for threading. So this is not a desired way i'd say.

Possible solution here would be to iterate over ID datablocks
  using dependency graph query API.

- Frame jump needs to call `BKE_sound_seek_scene()` directly
because there might be some flags assigned to the scene which
could be clear after operator execution is over.

Need to verify if that's the case though. This is a bit hairy
code, so sticking to a safest and known to work approach for
  now.

- Removed check for format when opening new sound file.
Maybe we can have some utility function which queries channel
and duration information, leaving the caller's code clean and
  tidy.

Tested following cases:
- Adding/removing/moving sequencer's sound strips.
- Adding/moving speakers in viewport.
- Rendering audio.

088be7eb2f Keymaps: replace select / action mouse system
For Blender builtin configurations the option to choose the select mouse remains
and is now also in the splash screen. It works by changing the keymap dynamically
in the script, rather than using special events.

The system of automatic switching of events was not flexible enough to deal with
side effects that require further keymap changes, so it is now under more manual
control in the script.

This breaks compatibility for some scripts and exported key configurations.
These can be fixed by replacing SELECTMOUSE, ACTIONMOUSE, EVT_TWEAK_S and
EVT_TWEAK_A with appropriate LEFTMOUSE, RIGHTMOUSE, EVT_TWEAK_L and
EVT_TWEAK_R events.

Other than that, there should be no functional changes.

3064da1200 Keymap: move builtin keymaps from C to Python
This should be purely an implementation change,
for end users there should be no functional difference.

The entire key configuration is in one file with ~5000 lines of code.
Mostly avoiding code duplication and preserve comments and utility
functions from the C code.
It's a bit long but for searching and editing it's also convenient to
have it all in one file.

Notes:

- Actual keymap is shared by blender / blender_legacy
  and stored in `keymap_data/blender_default.py`

This only generates JSON-like data to be passed into
`keyconfig_import_from_data`, allowing other presets to load and
  manipulate the default keymap.

- Each preset defines 'keyconfig_data'
which can be shared between presets.

- Some of the utility functions for generating keymap items still
need to be ported over to Python.

- Some keymap items can be made into loops (marked as TODO).

7a88a7742b Drivers UI (Part of T55145) - WIP first steps towards getting a floating driver settings panel
This commit adds a new menu entry - "Edit Driver" - the RMB menu that
will show a popover panel displaying the settings for the driver you
activated the menu item on. This shows the popover panel defined in
yesterday's commit (GRAPH_PT_drivers_popover).

It is possible to edit the driver settings from this panel now.
However, do be warned that the functionality presented is highly
WIP still. There are some unresolved issues, such as:
 - The popover disappears too easily on any mouse movements/clicks
on anything, making the panel less useful right now than it should.

 - The layout still needs refining. Currently the layout that's there
is a bit of a placeholder until we can play around with it a bit
more to see/feel what feels good/right or what is too much.

 - The "Open Drivers Editor" on the bottom of the panel doesn't work.
There are some tricky context tricky things that need to happen here
to make that case work, since the operator button won't have the necessary
   context info.

17689f8bb6 Fix T50904: Imprecise timeline frame selection using mouse
The changes introduced in rB3e628eefa9f55fac7b0faaec4fd4392c2de6b20e
made the non-subframe frame change behaviour less intuitive, by always
truncating downwards, instead of rounding to the nearest frame instead.
This made the UI a lot less forgiving of pointing precision errors
(for example, as a result of hand shake, or using a tablet on a highres scren)

This commit restores the old behaviour in this case only (subframe inspection
isn't affected by these changes)

3e628eefa9 Motion blur investigation feature
This commit adds a way to debug Cycles motion blur issues which
are usually happening due to something crazy happening in between
of frames. Biggest trouble was that artists had no clue about
what's happening in subframes before they render. This is at
least inefficient workflow when dealing with motion blur shots
with complex animation.

Now there is an option in Time Line Editor which could be found
in View -> Show Subframe. This option will expose current frame
with it's subframe to the time line editor header and it'll allow
scrubbing with a subframe precision in time line editor.

Please note that none of the tools in Blender are aware of
subframe, so they'll likely be using current integer frame still.

This is something we don't consider a bug for now, the whole
purpose for now is to give a tool for investigation. Eventually
we'll likely tweak all tools to be aware of subframe.

Hopefully now we can finish the movie here in the studio..
